Terms and Conditions

Stanford Learning (hereafter referred to as the “Company”, “Stanford Learning”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides professional learning, training, and certification-oriented services through its digital platforms. We encourage all prospective clients to carefully read these Terms and Conditions prior to enrolling in or purchasing any of our programs.

1. Definitions

  • “Company”, “Stanford Learning”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”
    Refers to Stanford Learning, with its principal address at
    Stanford University, 450 Jane Stanford Way, Stanford, CA 94305–2004

  • “Client”, “You”, “Your”
    Refers to the individual or organization purchasing or enrolling in a Stanford Learning program.

  • “Booker”
    Refers to the individual making a booking on behalf of a Client.

  • “Website”
    Refers to Stanford Learning’s official website and associated digital platforms.

  • “Terms and Conditions”
    Refers to the terms governing use of our website, services, and purchases.

  • “Booking Form”
    Refers to the agreement between Stanford Learning and the Client outlining the delivery of services.

  • “Joining Instructions”
    Refers to course access details provided after confirmation of payment.

  • “Working Days”
    Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
     

2. Prices

  • All price quotations are valid for 7 days from the date issued.

  • Prices are subject to change due to market, certification body, or operational factors.

  • Unless explicitly stated, prices exclude taxes, which will be applied as per applicable law.

  • Course fees do not include travel, accommodation, or personal expenses unless explicitly stated.

  • Stanford Learning reserves the right to revise pricing if external certification bodies revise their examination or material fees.

  • Marketing materials and website listings are indicative and do not constitute a binding contract.
     

3. Payments

  • All course fees are payable in full upon receipt of invoice.

  • Payments must be completed before access to learning platforms, assessments, certificates, or examinations is granted.

  • Any bank or transaction charges for international payments are the responsibility of the Client.

  • Certificates, results, or examination access will not be issued until full payment is received.

  • Once payment is processed, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
     

4. Cancellations

Cancellations by Stanford Learning
Stanford Learning reserves the right to reschedule or cancel programs due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including low enrollment or instructor unavailability. In such cases, alternative options or refunds will be offered where applicable.
Cancellations by the Client
 

  • 0–30 days before course start: 100% fee payable

  • 31–40 days before course start: 75% fee payable

  • 41–50 days before course start: 25% fee payable
     

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

5. Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests are subject to administrative charges based on notice period and availability. Fees may range from 25%–75% of the course value depending on timing.

6. Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed within 20 working days using the original payment method.

  • Banking fees, examination vouchers, and deposits are non-refundable.

  • Refunds may be adjusted against outstanding dues, if any.​
     

7. Course Changes
Stanford Learning reserves the right to update course content, instructors, schedules, or delivery format to maintain academic and professional relevance. Reasonable notice will be provided where possible.

8. Non-Attendance
Failure to attend or complete a program, regardless of delivery format, is treated as a cancellation without notice and is non-refundable.

9. Course Suitability
It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure the selected course meets their requirements. Any recommendations provided by Stanford Learning are offered in good faith.

10. Admission Rights
Stanford Learning reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual deemed unsuitable for a program.

11. Intellectual Property
All course materials, content, branding, and digital assets are the intellectual property of Stanford Learning or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

12. E-Learning & Online Access

  • Access credentials are non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Course access is granted for a defined duration communicated at enrollment.

  • Stanford Learning may update online content to maintain quality and relevance.
     

13. Liability & Warranty
Stanford Learning’s liability is limited to the value of the course purchased. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

14. Privacy & Data Protection
Stanford Learning is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Information is used solely for service delivery, compliance, and learner support.

15. Confidentiality
All Client information is treated as confidential and shared only when necessary for service delivery or legal compliance.

16. Force Majeure
Stanford Learning shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, technical failures, or governmental actions.

17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws of the jurisdiction under which Stanford Learning operates.

18. Amendments
Stanford Learning reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
